One of the biggest challenges for any artist or client is being able to navigate where to take their project after the cameras have stopped rolling and the crew has gone home. That is where I come in. Like a chef in a restaurant, my job is to take the raw ingredients and cook up an appetizing product for the consumer to enjoy. With the help of my mentors and my background in filmmaking both in the educational and professional fields, I have taught myself the language of editing, learning new skills and shortcuts with every new project. Over the pandemic, I taught myself Davinci Resolve, reading books and practicing my color correction skills in my free time. The most important questions for me when taking on any project are what the desired workflow is for the project, where is the project’s final distribution and how we can create the best product possible with the tools that we have. Organization is key, Productivity is a must, Creativity is at the heart of every decision. Let’s create some awesome projects together!
